I've attempted making this site a hundred different times and each time I've run into obstacles preventing me from keeping it live. My biggest frustration was the graphics and layout. I would get great ideas in my head but every time I attempted to implement them, it would look like crap or just wouldn't work logistically. The second frustration was the content. How does one share yourself with the world without recreating what a million people have already done. In addition, why would anyone care? I've owned the domain Yorri.com for 9 years now and I love how it's MY own personalized space. I have my own email address and I have total control over the entire process. I suppose it's the control freak in me but also the indivualist personality. With this in mind I've made one last attempt to make a site worth publishing and here it is.
I believe the links on the top left are self explanatory but if you are a first time visitor check out the Story of Yorri (an introduction on the name Yorri - no it's not my real name).
In each section I plan to create a picture like the one above to provide some color and interest to the pages. You will find a link entitled "About this Picture" which will explain what the pictures represent. My hope is to help keep my site interesting even though the content most likely will not have any connection to me whatsoever. In this instance, the above picture is about the new LED lighting that has been added to the CN Tower. There are some great views in the East end where I live that has a wonderful view of the tower lit at night. I presonally like the idea.
And last but not least. If you have an urge to contact me, I've created a page with a form that will send me an email. Hopefully I won't get too much spam :)
Thanks for your visit,
Yorri
